The Story
Pleated asymmetrical draped dress by Mary McFadden. Signature pleats in a creamy winter white are given a slight avant garde edge with an off-kilter layered Bertha collar that brings to mind the majestic ruffles of the renaissance. Linear pleats subtly break up the body and create a disappearing waistline atop a straight column skirt. Half sleeves with lightly padded shoulders and side zipper at the organza-lined waist to reinforce the pleated panel. We would finish with rhinestone pearl drop earrings and strappy sandals for a crystalized frozen effect. Ivory.
