1989 A/W Bengal Brocade Tiger Top

Mixed media brocaded tiger sleeve top by Gianfranco Ferre from the Fall 1989 runway collection. Short bodice in metallic gold brocade with thick gold embroidery and knit tinsel accents features a flattering off-the-shoulder neckline with a slightly scalloped edge. Soft faux fur sleeves lend a ceremonial feel to this regal top, with a concealed front zipper and snap closure that adds to the wrapped shawl-like style. We would wear with a pair of jeans and statement belt, but would also wear with a layered silk chiffon skirt, strappy sandals, and gold chandelier earrings for any holiday event or special occasion.
