Numbered Couture Houndstooth Jacket

Bow-tie yarn houndstooth jacket by Chanel. Rare numbered haute couture jacket with a large velvet pussy bow that hooks at the neck is a timeless investment piece we believe to be from the mid 1960s-70s. Four front patch pockets with logo button closures. Signature chain weight along the hem keeps everything in place. Quilted lining with strong padded shoulders and a straight, boyish silhouette. We would wear with a silk blouse, flared trouser, stacked heel loafer and piles of Chanel chains, completed with a newsboy cap for that "borrowed from the boys" look. Red, black, cream, gold.
