The story of this iconic minaudiere is quite a fairy tale: designed to go with the launch of the perfume "Opium," it was supposed to be a cheap but chic Christmas gift and was sold in the perfume shops in a black signed box, holding a lipstick and a compact. The story says it was sold out in one day... and it became one of the most iconic of all YSL bags.
