Pleated Leather Strip Gown

Dramatic pleated silk and leather gown by Ralph Lauren Collection Purple Label from his romantic A/W 2013 Russian inspired runway. Stunning floor length gown is made up of many thin ribbons of soft lambskin leather running down the vertical length of the gown on sheer silk georgette in a fitted bodice, opening up to a pleated full circle skirt. Zipper back with hook and eye closure. The strips of leather create soft ease and movement that is less restrictive than a full leather dress. Perfect for any fall black tie event or red carpet, we would wear with strappy gold lamé snakeskin heels, stacks of colorful cocktail rings, and a deep berry lip. Black.
