Sculpted Button Jacket

This stunning handcrafted jacket by Balenciaga is all about the silhouette. Strategic seaming and pocket folds create a classic 50s shape, with a nipped-in waist and exaggerated hip. Large enameled metal buttons add a little shine to an otherwise serious jacket, keeping the look all about those shapes. Ingenious reinforced pockets are created out of the fold along the princess seams, highlighting the waist and hip without added padding or bulk. This jacket makes you stand a little straighter, walk a little taller, and carry yourself with a little more class. We would wear with just about anything, but especially love the look with a long, narrow skirt and ankle boots. Black, bronze.
