Silk Double Breasted Dress

Proper little black dress by Chanel. Double-breasted silk dress with knife pleated skirt slip under layer. Signature gold button shanks with Coco Chanel profile and contrast collar, sleeve cuffs, and pocket welts. Short raglan sleeves soften the silhouette. We would ground the look with a chunky, strappy shoe, add a pop of color with a bold red lip, and pin a cream camellia to the collar. Soft black, cream.

*Staining at left collar and left chest pocket welt (pictured). Slight stains at neckline of slip dress, not noticeable under overdress (pictured). Eight buttons appear to have been replaced and are slightly different size from original (17mm vs 20mm); only noticeable when buttoning the garment, but not when on (pictured).
